What Makes It Patty Perfect: With 24 kinds of burgers on offer, WBC patrons are certainly spoiled for choice. Its signature patty combines 10 ounces of beef with special sauce, smoked mozzarella, beefsteak tomato, pickles, and frisée. No pale and wimpy Iceberg lettuce here. The Entourage is likewise a mouthful; its 10-ounce patty is served between two Texas toast grilled cheeses. They also have chicken, turkey, veggie, lamb, bison, salmon, and tuna “burgers” as well as a gluten- and lactose-free burger.
The burgers are all speared with a pickled cucumber, olive, and cherry tomato garnish.Their sweet potato fries are served with a maple dipping sauce. Owners Angelo DiFeo, Vincent Corso and Michelle Bernal opened the first WBC in White Plains in 2010. They have since expanded to Mount Kisco, Rye Brook, and Stamford, Conn.
